Class Assignment: Midterm Reflection, tweetdeck is still kicking my ass
2) Ha well as a reader I have learned that I have the least amount of patience reading than I ever have had in my life. It takes about two pages before I loose track of what I’m reading and I’m anxious for something else. I’ve learned that in today’s day, a lot more people are feeling the same way towards reading. Being a write is an important job because you are forwarding a message to the readers. Lol if they have the attention span to read what your writing, you better be entertaining them. And as a thinker, you have to look deeper into a situation before you judge it. a commercial may look like just a simple ad. But you have taught us to look further and see why it is entertaining us and what it is subliminally telling us.
3) Learn how to freaking twitter! No, seriously though I would have paid better attention when we first got our tool packets. Because that packet came back to bite me in the butt. Luckily a lot of it is common sense and its easy to pick up on. Either that or be more social. This class really doesn’t have anybody in it that I’ve ever known before and I think that made it hard for me to get “into” the class for the first few weeks.
4) Honestly you’re a pretty good teacher. You’re a very outgoing guy and I haven’t had any problem with the way you teach. Sometimes I catch myself behind with all the work that is due with the blog. I forget due dates and it kicks me in the ass.
5) Feed really opened my eyes to thinking deeper into our future and where we are headed. I enjoy this class because you teach us about the world we live in today and how we are effecting one another. I have repeated numerous facts we have learned from you to friends outside the school because I find them soo interesting. Also learning about how our brains are effected by the media and the way they attempt to pull us in is something that has always interested me.

Gangbangin Hoochies for everyone

A story of the travels of two assholes from this past weekend. Hank and I took a trip down to visit a friend at Southern New Hampshire University. Met way too many freshmen biddies for any dudes wellbeing. Our friend Em and her cute little friends took good care of us, showin us around and filling us in on the highly populated quido culture of beautiful SNHU. We finally went out and we got to completely indulge in a hoochie/ laxbro fiesta. Im not even 20mins into my bottle of classy champagne and I am told that Hanks outside the party bout to get arrested. I swim thru the sea of sweaty chicas and jersey bearing guyblows and find hank sitting on a rock wall hanging is head like an abused puppy. Mind you im looking at him through a tinted window and he looks as white as death. Apparently an RA saw him drinking out of a bottle of champagne, smoking a joint, outside a dorm building. He clearly didnt understand the concept of a college campus. Why they party on campus in the first place I dont know. The RA wasn’t buying his story of being lost and told him that he was gona have to wait for the police to arrive. Being the sharp shooter he is, he decided to eat every drug in his pockets figuring they are better inside than out and pretty much goes blind for 20 mins. Needless to say the cops never came and he spent the rest of his night pacing, talking faster than I thought possible. Saturday we strutted our shit in the mall and got to try out the new electric cigarettes. They are actually dope. No smoking rat poisen they are liquid nicotine. The smoke is really vapor and it has no smell. You can smoke them in resturaunts or on airplanes, wherever floats your boat. Sweet. That night we went out to another party and quickly decided we were gona splurge and hit up Boston. Around 11:30 we headed out and made great time down 93. We pickup my little brother and walk into a warehouse party that couldn’t have been a better welcome back to the home-land. Stripper poles, two djs, graffiti covered walls and Beantown biddies competing for who can drink more booze entertained us until a fistfight broke out because some dumbass took some kids mini football. A broken glass bottle whizzed by my head and had to thank the Boston gods for not taking one of my eyeballs. Later on in the morning I watched Hank beat the piss out of a middle-aged gangbanger and show me just how fast he really can run, even when his pants are sagging past his knees. We went to Bodegas, for those of you not from the area it’s a really sick store everyone should check out. You walk in and it is a boring run down convienience store, walk up to the soda machine and it automatically slides open and you walk into the cleanest, classiest urban clothing shop in all of Boston. Custom and limited edition Jordans, nikes, whatever you want they have something gaurenteed that no one else will be wearing. Check it out.

ME

My name is Jesse Iacobone, graphic design major, im from Boston, MA. Born and raised a masshole.
I took about 3 weeks out of the summer and took a minroadtrip to visit some friends that I havent been able to see lately. Started in Mass, went up to Burlington, across Champlain to Syracuse, Buffalo, and down to New York City for 2 days before heading back to mass. I had never been to time square before so that was a great experience.
I dont enjoy how everyone feels like they always need to be connected these days, however the internet makes access to pretty much anything extremely easy.
In the future i would like to be involved in design wether its with art or clothing, i see myself designing for a very long time. I try my hardest to live my life to the fullest and have a great time with whatever I do. I will always encourage my friends to go out of their way to do something new or take a chance at something they normally wouldnt. In my mind thats called "Splurging" and thats what this blogs gona be about.
